The Stonycreek River has won the statewide River of the Year for 2012 contest. To celebrate this achievement, a June 16 River of the Year Celebration will be held at Greenhouse Park/Whitewater Park in Tire Hill. Celebration to include river rafting, whitewater rodeo events at Whitewater Park, Stonycreek races, and lots of entertainment.
